(Even more Info about your Consolidated Bill and the NCard)

Charges from across campus are collected in a centralized student account. Each month a consolidated bill is produced for on campus NCard charges as well as University housing and meals, tuition and fees, athletic tickets, parking permits and citations, telecommunications services, and health center charges.

Bills are generated and available for viewing on WAM/WAMS by the 25th of each month and are due by the second Wednesday of the following month. Students are notified via email when the bill is ready. It is important to pay the bill on time and in full each month.

WAM (What About Me) wam.unl.edu is the student's online account at UNL. Among the information accessible on this site, is a section called "My Bill." This section includes:

  • Access to the last 18 monthly billing statements
  • The ability to print a statement
  • On-line payment options
  • 1098-T information (for Tax credits)
  • Ability to establish a password to grant access to parents or others via WAMS

The WAMS (What About My Student) website allows parents and others to access student billing information. Students can grant this access by creating a password on the WAM website. With this password and the student's ID number, parents or other authorized persons can view tax information and bills or make a payment, simply by logging on to wams.unl.edu.

Failing to pay the bill could result in a late fee, a hold on the account, both and/or other sanctions. Students with delinquent accounts could have their NCard Charge privileges suspended until 24 hours after the account is brought current. A hold prevents students from receiving transcripts and diplomas and futre enrollment in classes (including adds and section changes).

If there are unfamiliar charges, it is important to investigate them immediately. For your convenience, the contact information for each department with current charges is provided on the bill. Be sure to contact the department with the suspicious charges as soon as they are noticed. Investigating these suspicious charges right waway will help to prevent late fees and/or a hold.

If there are any questions about the consolidated bill, feel free to cantact Student Accounts. Bookmark us at stuaccts.unl.edu or call us at (402) 472-2887.

NCard Optional Services

What is the difference between the NCard Campus Account and the Wells Fargo Account?

NCard Campus Account
→ Purchases made using an NCard with an activated NCard Campus Account appear on a student's Consolidated Bill.

Wells Fargo Account
→ If you elect to add the Wells Fargo account feature and have the card linked at a Wells Fargo Bank, the NCard will become a PIN-based debit card, requiring a balance in a Wells Fargo bank account to cover the purchases. It is not a credit card.

Talk with your student about money and financial responsibilities before they leave for college. There are a lot of spending opportunities while in school and it is important that it has been determined by the family who is paying for what while your student is in college.
